Tape
A quick, reversible way to connect pieces while an idea is still changing.
Get to know it
Use small pieces of tape to try out a connection before making it permanent. Masking tape, clear tape, and fabric tape behave differently. Tape can stiffen a paper fold or attach a straw sleeve to cardboard, but pressure and temperature can change the bond. Try peeling the connection apart and rebuilding it.
What happens if…
- Can your connection move like a hinge?
- How little tape can still hold the pieces together?
