Privacy & participation

Reading and contributing

Anyone can browse. Accounts are for people aged 13 or older; younger participants can explore with a trusted adult who manages any contributions. Use a public display name that you are comfortable sharing. Do not post children’s personal information, addresses, private contact details, or identifying stories without permission.

What we keep

We store your username, public display name, protected password, recovery details, optional email, drafts, contributions, review decisions, and account sessions. Your recovery email is private. Private drafts are visible to you; submitted drafts are also visible to reviewers. Published entries credit your public display name. We do not use advertising trackers.

Account access

A necessary cookie keeps you signed in. A verified recovery email lets you request a password reset. If you choose not to add an email, keep your recovery code private: it can reset your password. If you lose access to all recovery methods, we cannot promise to restore access. Download copies of contributions you want to keep.

Sharing your work

Only contribute material you have permission to share. Credit the people and sources your work builds on. Published revision history preserves authorship and the changes made to a contribution.

Review and safety

Contributions are reviewed before appearing publicly. Describe hazards and supervision needs honestly. A suggested substitution is specific to its example; it is not a universal guarantee of strength, suitability, or safety. Do not post harassment, personal data, unlawful content, or dangerous instructions intended to harm people.

Data requests and concerns

You can flag a published contribution using “Report a concern” on its page. Include the issue without sharing passwords, recovery codes, or other private information. A reviewer will assess the report. For account deletion, privacy requests, or help reaching the operator, email help@kwanobi.org. Include your username when relevant; never send your password or recovery code.
